Introducing Kristen McLaughlin, a distinguished artist whose journey in the world of dance began in Bakersfield, CA. From her early days of training, Kristen's passion and talent have propelled her to remarkable achievements in the realm of performing arts.
At the age of 18, Kristen earned a scholarship to the prestigious EDGE Performing Arts Center under the mentorship of Jackie Sleight*, all while pursuing her education at UCLA. Her career highlights include commercial work for MGM Grand Hotel and serving as a dance captain for the esteemed Mark Goodman Tap Company.
Throughout her career, Kristen has graced both the stage and the director's chair, with credits in renowned productions such as Cats, 42nd Street, and A Chorus Line for the Bakersfield Music Theatre and Stars Dinner Theatre. She has also made significant contributions as a dance director and choreographer for the Nutcracker Ballet produced by The Bakersfield Symphony and Civic Dance Center.
Kristen's artistic vision extends beyond traditional performances, as evidenced by her involvement in creating musical short films for Loyola Marymount University, showcased at the Bakersfield Film Festival. Her choreographic prowess has been recognized at the Under the Stars Choreography Festival, and she has presented her work with ballet companies at Regional Dance America (R.D.A.) Festivals.
As a testament to her versatility, Kristen has choreographed music videos for acclaimed artists such as the 100 Monkeys and Katie Herzig, and co-produced The Linden Tree for The Kissing Club. Currently serving as the Artistic Director for McLaughlin Dance Collective, Kristen continues to inspire and mentor aspiring dancers.

Meet Jenai, a seasoned performer whose passion for the arts began at the tender age of three. From captivating audiences at the Kern County Fair to gracing stages at 25, Jenai's journey is one of talent and dedication.
A veteran of dance conventions from 2010 to 2019, Jenai boasts an impressive collection of over 35 scholarships and awards in styles ranging from Ballet to Jazz and Tap. Her accolades include notable achievements such as placing 7th in the Teen division and 6th in the Senior division at the West Coast Dance Explosion National Finals, as well as clinching the 1st Runner Up title in the Senior Division in 2017.
As a member of the esteemed West Coast Dance Explosion's Fuzion Dance Company and the Imagine Ballet Company, Jenai has consistently demonstrated her prowess on stage. Her commitment to excellence has earned her recognition as an honor student by adjudicators at Regional Dance America Pacific.
Beyond the dance floor, Jenai has made her mark in the world of pageantry, excelling in competitions such as National American Miss and International Junior Miss America's Most Beautiful Miss. Her talent, modeling skills, and charismatic personality have garnered numerous awards at the State, National, and International levels, culminating in her crowning as the 2019-2020 Royal International Miss.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Jenai is an active member of Delta Sigma Kappa (Δ Σ Κ), where she dedicates herself to service, leadership, and sisterhood. Through this sorority, she advocates for adoption and foster care, as well as raises funds for the Dream Royal Foundation.
Currently pursuing a business major at Taft College, Jenai wears many hats with aplomb. As the Assistant Director and Principle Dancer of McLaughlin Dance Collective, a pageant coach at Pageant Coaching and Designs, and a social media manager for various individuals and businesses, she continues to inspire and empower others both on and off the stage.
Furthermore, Jenai is the creative force behind Jenai's Jewels, her own small business specializing in earrings and accessories. Her entrepreneurial spirit and artistic flair continue to shine bright, making her a true Renaissance woman in every sense of the word.
